1. CEO of Tesla

Tesla announced several models for release in the early 2020s, including the Tesla Semi and the highly anticipated Cybertruck. Although production of the Cybertruck was initially slated for 2021, delays due to supply chain issues, design changes, and production challenges pushed its rollout back by two years.

After merging with Confinity, the company rebranded as PayPal. In 2002, eBay acquired PayPal for $1.5 billion, marking Musk’s first significant achievement in the tech industry.

4. X (Formerly Twitter)

In 2022, Musk bought more than 9% of Twitter, eventually offering $44 billion to purchase the entire company. Then, he completed the deal in October 2022 after a legal battle. 

As Twitter’s owner, Musk made significant changes. His actions included laying off half the staff, charging for blue check-mark verifications, and altering content moderation policies, before rebranding the platform to “X” in 2023.

5. The Boring Company

Musk’s frustration with LA traffic led him to create The Boring Company, which initially faced skepticism, especially with the pressure of Tesla’s Model 3 ramp-up. However, the company gained credibility when Chicago selected it to build a high-speed link between downtown and O’Hare airport, just within 12 minutes. 

6. Neuralink Brain Chips

Neuralink aims to connect humans and machines through brain-machine interfaces. The goal of this is to enhance cognitive abilities and potentially treat neurological disorders. 

Recently, its first brain chip implant patient, Noland Arbaugh, shared how the technology has helped him communicate. By enabling direct communication between the brain and devices, Neuralink could pave the way for groundbreaking treatments and devices for those with neurological challenges.

7. Starlink’s Internet

SpaceX’s Starlink initiative aims to provide global internet coverage through a network of low-Earth orbit satellites. Designed to offer high-speed internet, Starlink is working to connect even the most remote areas.
